When importing your app into your portfolio, it is important that your app is represented by a single entry. Our App Matching automated processes group the same app published over different stores.
However, in some cases you might find the naming of your App and/or Publisher is different across app stores and that your app is represented multiple times in our platform. If this is the case we recommend you take the following actions:
Alert us as soon as possible
If you know appScatter hasn't matched your app correctly then let us know as soon as possible by contacting our customer support team via support@appscatter.com
This will allow our support team to adjust any matching inconsistencies.
Import your app when you are certain the correct stores are covered
Importing your app into your portfolio on appScatter only when you are certain all stores are represented correctly.
Ensuring your app is represented correctly in appScatter will:
- Prevent publishing duplicate apps across the same store.
- Allow efficient and effective use of your subscription.
- Allow all of your app statistics and data to be presented in a single view.
Engage directly with an app store if you see
If appScatter has notified you to an unofficial / unauthorised version of your app published without your permission and knowledge, then the best course of action is direct. Contacting the app store directly will be the quickest and most effective way to remove any unauthorised use of your content and property.
